The Hero Electric Nyx HX is an electric scooter designed for utility work. The Hero Electric NYX HX is the high-speed variant of the NYX series. The electric scooter uses a 600/1,300 Watt motor that promises a top speed of 42kmph. The 51.2V/30Ah (double battery) is claimed to deliver a range of 165km per charge and takes up to five hours to fully recharge. Being a fast speed scooter, it requires registration. In comparison, its slow-speed variant does not need registration.

The Hero Electric NYX HX is not an outright street hooligan if that's what you're expecting. But it does the job very well, and if it's the manageable and reliable roadster you're looking to upgrade to, by all means, go and take a test ride! It may not give you an adrenaline rush, but it's no slouch either, and will keep you happy on most occasions. Whether you bring it home or not, it will certainly have you thinking about it, long after that first ride!

How’s the design?
The latest version of the Hero Electric NYX HX comes with a redesigned front fascia with a more contemporary headlamp cluster and LED lighting. There is a daytime running light (DRL) too for the bike while there are four-point adjustable levers, brakes and clutch. There is a new paint theme while the tail lights also get LEDs along with the turn indicators. The exhaust is quite similar to the one seen in the TVS Apache RR310. The bike looks and feels bigger than it actually is.
How is the performance?
The Hero Electric NYX HX has a 313 cc DOHC liquid cooled engine that makes 34 hp and 28 Nm of maximum torque. The engine is also paired to a 6-speed transmission system along with a slipper clutch. There is automatic idle boost for the engine and it sounds a little off-key at the beginning.
